The May Queen Ceremony we will be crowning a new Queen of the May at 4pm on the Friday 8th May.
Our beautiful May Queen from last year wanted us all to do our bit for the planet this was her decree. I am sure we have all done our best.
The May Queen is an old tradition and she was known as the summer Queen. The May Queen wears a crown of flowers when she is crowned we will all call out "All Hail the Queen of the May".
Anyone who would like to put themselves forward please contact Susan Marie Paramor on Facebook.
The ceremony will take place in the main marquee at Spirit of the Marsh, and is open to everyone. Wear your flower crowns with pride! There will be a workshop on the Friday helping us all to make our masks and crowns.
Blessings,
