Spirit of the Marsh

Spirit of The Marsh is a community run, not for profit festival and gathering.

Our first Beltane Gathering was in 2011, and has continued to run each year, with growing numbers.

Beltane

Beltane marks the beginning of Summer, and is one of the most important times for many pagans.

The Beltane fire is one of the key parts of this celebration. This sacred fire is lit at the opening ceremony, and is kept lit right until the end of the festival at the closing ceremony.

Live Music

From morning to late evening, live music is available on our live stage in the bar area.

Featuring pagan themed music, and local artists, there’s something to suit everyone’s needs.

Workshops

Workshops are ran throughout the festival, allowing visitors to join in  yoga classes, crafts, juggling and many more.

Spiritual Ceremonies

Our Beltane celebration has two main ceremonies. Beginning with the opening ceremony, and ending with the closing ceremony.

Meditations

Various meditation classes are ran throughout the weekend, and are suitable for newcomers and those with more practice in meditation.

A Traditional Beltane Celebration

Spirit of the Marsh offers a family friendly, traditional pagan festival, celebrating Beltane.

With live music, workshops, meditation classes, spiritual ceremonies, and a selection of stalls, there’s something for the pagan and non-pagans.

With visitors each year from all across the UK, Spirit of the Marsh is quickly becoming one of the most well attended Beltane Festivals in the East of England.
